Multidisciplinary Arrhythmia Summits

These programs will be singularly focused on the heart team approach for creating and growing an arrhythmia treatment program and managing post-operative pain. The education and discussions at these programs are more impactful when healthcare providers (HCPs) attend as a team (cardiac surgeon, electrophysiologist (EP), general cardiologist, advanced practice provider (APP), nurse navigator or other complimentary members of your heart team).

This program has been designed for advanced surgeons who currently treat complex arrhythmias and are seeking to increase their expertise and become Arrhythmia Treatment (ART) surgeons.

The course focuses on:

  • Long-term effects of untreated arrhythmias
  • Heart failure (HF) and its deleterious effect on atrial fibrillation (Afib)
  • Patient Identification
  • Markers for Afib, depressed left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF), HF, and enlarged atria
  • The importance of restoring sinus rhythm and increasing cardiac output
  • Collaborative patient approach and partnering with EPs for optimal care
